Sensors & Thermostats

Thermocouples

A thermocouple is a temperature-measuring device consisting of two different conductors that are joined at one end, creating a junction where the temperature is measured. Thermocouples offer simplicity, ruggedness, and broad temperature ranges, making them suitable for a variety of demanding applications. They are especially useful in industrial settings, such as in furnaces and turbines, due to their ability to measure extreme temperatures and respond quickly to temperature changes.

Standard Tolerances (Thermocouple): ±4°F

Thermostats

An industrial control adjustable bulb thermostat is a precise temperature regulation device specifically designed for demanding industrial applications. The rugged design of bulb thermostats makes them exceptionally reliable for use in environments that are subject to vibrations, dust, and other harsh conditions, typical in industrial settings. They offer high accuracy in temperature control and can be adjusted manually to suit specific operational requirements.

Standard Tolerances (Thermostat): ±6°F

RTDs

A Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) is a type of temperature sensor used to measure temperature by correlating the resistance of the RTD element with temperature. RTDs are constructed from pure materials, typically platinum, nickel, or copper, which are known for their precise and repeatable resistance-temperature relationship. The primary benefit of RTDs is their accuracy and stability over a wide temperature range. They maintain precise readings over long periods, making them ideal for applications in industrial processes, scientific research, and HVAC systems.

Standard Tolerances (RTD): ± 0.06% (Class A) ± 0.1% (Class B)
