Screw Plug Heaters consist of tubular elements that are brazed or welded to a screw plug and provided with terminal enclosures suited for your application. They are screwed directly into a tank wall or through a matching pipe coupling. Warren Electric builds screw plug sizes up to 4” NPT in Brass, Bronze, Carbon, or Stainless Steels.
Typical applications for screw plug heaters include, but are not limited to, process water heating, freeze protection, and the heating of oils, and heat transfer mediums.
Heating large tanks and vessels, industrial water heating, oil and petrochemical heating, wax heating (requires drywell), process heating in chemical industries, and more.
